Jang Jae Yeol adalah novelis misteri terkenal dan DJ radio populer dengan kepribadian berduri. Bermain dan sedikit sombong, ia juga menderita gangguan obsesif-kompulsif.

Ji Hae-soo adalah seorang psikiater di tahun pertama persekutuannya. Didorong dan ambisius dengan karirnya namun penuh kasih sayang terhadap pasiennya, Hae-soo memiliki sikap negatif terhadap cinta dan hubungan dalam kehidupan pribadinya.

Setelah bertemu psikiater Ji Hae Soo ketika mereka berdua bertugas di panel talkshow menggali pikiran kriminal, mereka langsung saling menggosok dengan cara yang salah. Tetapi ketika pacar Jae Yeol menjiplak pekerjaannya, memaksanya untuk diam sampai badai media meledak dan dia dapat membuktikan bahwa dia tidak bersalah, dia tiba-tiba menjadi teman sekamar Hae Soo.

Jae Yeol pindah ke rumah yang ia miliki yang disewa oleh Hae Soo, Jo Dong Min; psikiater lain dan kolega senior Hae Soo, dan Park Soo Kwang, seorang pria muda dengan sindrom Tourette. Ketika kepribadian Jae Yeol dan Hae Soo berbenturan, mereka saling membantu menyembuhkan dari bekas luka emosional yang mengakar.

Namun perlahan pertengkaran mereka berubah menjadi cinta dan mereka mulai belajar betapa cocoknya mereka. Jae-yeol dan Hae-soo berupaya untuk menyembuhkan satu sama lain luka yang dalam, tetapi hubungan mereka yang masih baru mendapat pukulan ketika mereka mengetahui bahwa masalah kesehatan mental Jae-yeol lebih serius daripada yang mereka duga sebelumnya.

Ji Hae-soo is a psychiatrist on her first year of fellowship. Driven and ambitious with her career yet compassionate towards her patients, Hae-soo has a negative attitude towards love and relationships in her personal life.

After meeting psychiatrist Ji Hae Soo when they both serve on a talk show panel delving into the criminal mind, they instantly rub each other the wrong way. But when Jae Yeol’s girlfriend plagiarizes his work, forcing him to lie low until the media storm blows over and he can prove his innocence, he unexpectedly becomes Hae Soo’s roommate.

Jae Yeol moves into a home that he owns that is being rented by Hae Soo, Jo Dong Min; another psychiatrist and Hae Soo’s senior colleague, and Park Soo Kwang, a young man with Tourette syndrome. As Jae Yeol and Hae Soo’s personalities clash, they help each other heal from their own deep-rooted emotional scars.

Once Jae-yeol and Hae-soo meet, there is much contention between them caused by their strong personalities and refusal to give in to each other. But slowly their bickering turns into love and they begin to learn how compatible they are. Jae-yeol and Hae-soo attempt to heal each other’s deep-seated wounds, but their fledgling relationship takes a blow when they learn that Jae-yeol’s mental health issues are more serious than they initially suspected.
